Why is our Procurement / Sourcing Coordinator role right for you?

Based in our London office, our strategic supplier management team (18 in the team, split between London and Manchester) comprehensively manage our supplier base across a number of defined vertical categories. Engaging directly with business stakeholders and suppliers, this role will see you involved across the whole sourcing lifecycle. Driving value (rather than cost saving) our progressive Supplier Management function provides strategic smart sourcing opportunities and ensures that supplier relationships are regularly reviewed and optimised.

What can I expect to be doing on a day to day basis?

Supporting our business units on a global basis with an annual spend in the region of £95m, you will be supporting corporate and operational services which includes marketing, communications, travel , finance, risk, compliance, audit, legal, property and facilities . Involved from the start of relationships / sourcing requirements you will be the pivot point around which RFPs are raised and reviewed, suppliers recommended, ongoing supplier relationships are performance measured and queries are resolved. You will process supplier payments in a timely manner and ensure any challenges are resolved or escalated.

What will make me right for the role?

You will have at least 12 months previous experience in a Sourcing / Procurement orientated position ideally having been exposed to either Technology Hardware/Licencing or Professional Services categories. You should be articulate, communicative and persuasive with excellent relationship building/management skills. A good level of excel competency will be necessary and you must be open to some potential travel in the role (occasional UK/US travel).
