In Singapore we have our central hub for the Asia Pacific region, where about 50 colleagues are based in an office with great views over the city. How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?
You will be targeting new corporate clients across the Retail and Digital Content industries in Korean (50%) and other North and South Asian regions. You will build up new relationships from scratch, using a portfolio of target clients and attracting new ones. These new clients might be found from supplied leads or already known within your existing network. The role is strategic, engaging with senior stakeholders and is focused on delivering leading solutions to our customers that provide maximum value. Therefore the sales processes can be complex at times with long sales cycles.
What will make you the ideal candidate?
We are looking for a native or fluent Korean speaker with a proven track record of new business solution sales. Your background is within payments or similar industries such as software solutions or technology. It would be beneficial if you’ve worked within the Retail or Digital space before. You have an ability to deliver value and not sell on price, be a strong negotiator, strategic sales trained and have the gravitas to operate at the ground and move up to engage at the C suite.
Besides strong analytical skills and methodological way of working, you will have excellent communicative skills (concise and direct) and experience in identifying and influencing key decision makers and stakeholders. There will be regular travel involved across APAC, so flexibility is required.
